John Wolpert

John Wolpert has spent nearly thirty years working with creative teams both in the theater and also in the computer, publishing, media, and life sciences industries. He believes that whether it is acting in a play, writing a novel, creating the next Google, or inventing the next life-saving drug or world-changing device, it is all part of the same creative impulse.

Teri Sloat

Teri is simply an amazing illustrator. She illustrated the cover of The Hidden Stage, which also is the basis of the flash animation on the Home Page. Check out Teri's work at www.terisloat.com.

Editors and Supporters

The Hidden Stage has been molded and shaped for over five years, ever since a publisher suggested in 2003 that a book about the theater that would interest middle grade readers should be written.

There have been many readers and editors along the way since then, including a raft of brilliant young people - some of whom aren't so young anymore. But a special note of thanks goes to Georgia Rivers, who is in my view one of the great budding Australian leaders in the arts community. Check out what she is doing with the Australian Chamber Orchestra in Sydney.

Carly Gloge

Carly is not only a brilliant web developer, she is a great teacher. She really helped make this site happen. Find out more about Carly at www.warbweb.com.
